Two Up-and-Coming Researchers Will Share The 2024 Jack Dongarra Early Career Award

Two early career researchers who have made remarkable contributions to the field of high performance computing have been selected as the recipients of the Jack Dongarra Early Career Award at ISC 2024. The award committee acknowledged their exceptional work and dedication and decided to present the award to both researchers as a special case. Each recipient will receive 2,500 euros as part of the award.

LBNL Researchers Bag 2024 Hans Meuer Award for Their Work on Quantum Computations

We are very pleased to announce that this year’s Hans Meuer Award recipients are a team of five researchers from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for their evaluation of the classical hardware requirements for large-scale quantum computations.

ISC Tuesday Keynote Spotlights Cutting-Edge Computing in Aerospace

ISC 2024 attendees will be treated to a captivating look at how research at one of Europe’s premier multinational corporation is driving industrial design in the 21st century. In the event’s second keynote on Tuesday, Airbus’ Isabell Gradert will talk about how high performance computing has propelled advances in aviation and what the future of the aerospace industry will need to realize a sustainable future.
