ISC 2027 Opens Calls for the Contributed Program

HAMBURG, Germany, October 13, 2026 – We are pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the ISC High Performance 2027 Contributed Program. Researchers, engineers, students, and practitioners from all areas of high performance computing, including artificial intelligence and quantum computing, are invited to submit to the programs that best match their interests.

ISC 2027 takes place June 7-11, 2027, in Hamburg, kicking off with hands-on tutorials on Monday, June 7, and ending with workshops on Friday, June 11. More than 4,000 attendees and 180 exhibitors from the HPC, AI, quantum computing, and emerging technologies domains will be participating in the event.

The ISC Contributed Program is organized around six topic areas: System Architecture and Hardware Components, Programming Environments and System Software, Algorithms and Performance, Applications and Use Cases, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing.

The ISC Workshops, Tutorials, and Birds of a Feather committees also welcome contributions on community topics such as education and training, diversity and inclusion, and early-career development.

New in 2027

  • Tutorials will move to a two-stage process to reduce initial preparation for submitters and further improve the quality and relevance of the tutorial program. Submitters must first send a short pre-proposal, and only accepted pre-proposals will be invited to submit a full proposal. Please note that acceptance of a pre-proposal does not guarantee final acceptance.

  • Workshops with proceedings will publish their papers in Elsevier’s Future Generation Computer Systems, with worldwide open access for four weeks starting at ISC 2027. For the first time, proceedings will be available at the start of the conference. Please note that the call for workshops with proceedings is now closed.
