ℹ️ Information

The requirements are hard walls with a minimum height of 2.5 m. Above 2.5 m, the rear sides of the separation walls must be kept smooth and white in color, so as not to impair the design of the neighboring stand or must be positioned at least 1.00 m from the border of the neighboring stand.

Raised floors or platforms accessible to visitors may be a maximum of 6 cm high. If they exceed this height, they must be made accessible via a ramp.

🪜 Ramp Requirements

The ramp must be located within the borders of the stand area and must be designed in conformity with DIN 18024 or DIN 18040-1 (max. 6% incline, min. 1.5m wide).

🚧 Edge Markings

All exposed edges of raised floors must be clearly marked with high-visibility contrasting tape or equivalent visual marking to reduce the risk of trips and falls.

Visibility along the lines of sight from and into the booth must not be obstructed. Edges bordering aisles shall therefore be designed to be as transparent and open as practicable. As a guideline, both the front and side elevations must be 70% open, calculated based on the total linear width of the stand facing the aisle, not on the square meterage of the side area. For example, if one side of the booth facing an aisle is 10 meters wide, a minimum of 7 meters must be fully open.

🚧 Stand Structures

Long, continuous, enclosed stand structures along aisle boundaries are not permitted. Aisle-facing edges must be visually interrupted by open elements such as display cases, niches, showcases, or comparable features.
