More InformationAt ISC 2026, we talked with GIGABYTE about what it takes to be more than a hardware vendor, i.e., building AI and HPC solutions for everyone from research institutes to AI cloud providers. The conversation covers the AI TOP workstation, which brings local AI compute (down to GB300-level workstations) to users who once needed a data center connection; the modular NVIDIA MGX platform, which supports a mix of GPUs from RTX Pro 6000 to H200 NVL across different customer workloads; and the newly unveiled Blackwell NVL72, with liquid cooling up to 96% and a 10x performance leap. One thing became clear from this conversation – AI compute is now as much about scalable infrastructure as raw hardware.

More InformationAt ISC 2026, Gesa Gröning spoke with the team behind Quandela’s Lucy, a 12-qubit photonic quantum computer, which is now deployed through a EuroHPC call and integrated into CEA in just a matter of weeks. The conversation traces the full path from qubit to production: a German partner’s new semiconductor R&D base near Munich, proof-of-concept work with Safran and Thales, and NVIDIA’s NVQLink integration, which links QPUs to GPUs at microsecond latency for quantum error correction. They also talked about the next generation of fault-tolerant, logical-qubit systems and why photonic and cold-atom approaches may offer quantum advantage without the energy overhead of superconducting qubits.
