STUDENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Are you interested in exploring career possibilities in the rapidly evolving fields of high performance computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and quantum computing? Look no further!

The ISC Student Volunteer Program allows you to engage with leading minds in high performance computing, including renowned scientists, early-career researchers, and representatives of organizations advancing HPC technologies.

We highly value diversity and inclusion at ISC. Therefore, we encourage minority groups in STEM study fields to apply to this program. Immerse yourself in the world of HPC over five days!

Our valued partner, Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC), was created to encourage women’s participation in the HPC community. They provide fellowship, education, and support to women and organizations that employ them.

Through collaboration and networking, WHPC strives to bring together women in HPC and technical computing while encouraging women to engage in outreach activities and improve the visibility of inspirational role models.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Volunteers must be enrolled in a PhD, master’s, or full-time undergraduate program at the time of the conference.
  • Volunteers must be able to speak English fluently.
  • Volunteers must be willing to work at least 25 hours before and during the conference and be available from June 7 to June 14, 2025.
  • Volunteers are solely responsible for their travel expenses. In some cases, your university can provide financial support. Ask them for funding.

NOTE: Duties before and during the conference may include assisting attendee check-in, serving as a doorkeeper during conference sessions, running microphones to audience members during sessions, providing technical support to the ISCnet team or the event technicians, monitoring catering areas, counting attendees, etc.

Only complete applications submitted through our submission page that meet the mentioned requirements will be considered. Please include:

  • A brief cover letter
  • Concise curriculum vitae (CV) / résumé
  • Valid, dated student identification card or matriculation certificate
  • Official recommendation letter from a professor/supervisor
