HPC Community Gathers at ISC 2025 to Connect the Dots

HAMBURG, Germany, June 6 – In just four days, the eagerly awaited ISC 2025, a crucial event for the global high performance computing community, will take place. As of noon CET today, 3,137 attendees have registered for the event. If the registration continues at this pace, ISC is on track to achieve another milestone in attendance.

At this 40th anniversary event, under the theme Connecting the Dots, the conference will also be focusing on the integration of high performance computing (HPC) with artificial intelligence and quantum computing technologies. The goal is to bridge gaps across scientific research, engineering, and business applications.

We expect to welcome 3,500 international attendees from academia, research, and business sectors, representing more than 54 countries and all seven continents. Currently, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Japan have the highest representation in terms of attendance. We are excited to provide a broad technical focus, a community-oriented atmosphere, and a welcoming environment for businesses and professionals in the fields of artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

This year, the exhibition has experienced significant growth in its offerings. Out of 195 exhibitors, 139 consist of hardware and software vendors, service providers, and 51 research organizations from 31 countries. Among these, 88 are showcasing products and services related to GPUs and Machine Learning/AI, while 46 are presenting quantum computing hardware, software, and services.

The event also provides a forum for exploring how AI is driving technological innovation in the field and how it is expanding the performance, energy efficiency, and scope of HPC applications. We have created a website to highlight the AI content at ISC 2025.

Additionally, ISC also presents an excellent opportunity for those interested in leveraging our community to explore research and commercial applications in quantum computing. The event offers a wealth of resources and information on how quantum computing is becoming an integral part of our industry. Notably, this year’s Hans Meuer Award, which includes a cash prize, has been awarded to a paper on quantum computing. This highlights the growing importance of quantum computing within our community.

Open Access and On-Demand Content

All papers accepted for presentation at ISC are now published in the IEEE Xplore digital library and are available for free access. We are dedicated to sharing research at no cost!

Please note that every session recorded at ISC will be available for free on our website starting June 13. All you need to do is register on that day to access this content.

Good news for ISC Exhibition Pass Holders

The ISC Exhibition Pass now includes expanded access to a variety of sessions. Please take advantage of the benefits such as the TOP500 Awarding and Session, Birds of a Feather Sessions, the ISC Closing Keynote, HPC Around the World, Poster Sessions, the Panel: 40 Years ISC, and all exhibitor-related sessions.
