PLAN YOUR VISIT

Everything you need to get ready for ISC and make the most of your time in Hamburg.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning as a regular, this guide will help you prepare and navigate the event.

BEFORE YOU DEPART

Travel Note for Non-EU Passport Holders

If you are traveling to ISC 2026 with a non-EU passport, please plan extra time for your journey due to updated European border controls.

  • The EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is now in operation: It applies to non-EU nationals entering the Schengen Area for short stays. As part of this process, travelers may be required to register biometric data, such as fingerprints and a facial image, at border control.
  • Expect longer wait times: If this is your first entry into the Schengen Area since the system became active, passport checks will take longer than usual.
  • Connecting flights: If you are connecting to Hamburg through another Schengen airport, passport control will usually occur at your first point of entry into the Schengen Area.

Our Recommendation: If you have a tight connection, check your airline’s guidance before departure and proceeding directly to passport control upon arrival. Airport or airline staff can also advise you on the best way to reach your connecting flight.

VENUE MAPS

BADGE PICK UP INFORMATION

A personal QR code will be sent to attendees via email. Have it ready on your smartphone (or saved to Apple Wallet / Google Pay) to scan it at the terminals right next to the main entrance (view ground floor map).

Badges are not mailed or shipped and must be picked up personally by the attendee. Please have a photo ID (i.e., driver’s license or passport) ready for badge collection. Students should also present valid student IDs.

You must wear your badge visibly within the event venue at all times.

The ISC 2026 badge grants admission to the event venue. Each badge is unique to the registered attendee and may not be sold, given, or transferred to another individual. There is a EUR 30 reprint charge to replace a lost badge, and you must show proof of identity.
