Torsten Hoefler, ISC 2025 Program Chair, is a Professor of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, a member of Academia Europaea, and a Fellow of the ACM and IEEE. His research interests revolve around the central topic of “Performance-centric System Design” and include scalable networks, parallel programming techniques, and performance modeling.

ROSA BADIA

Rosa M. Badia, ISC 2025 Program Deputy Chair, manages the Workflows and Distributed Computing research group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), and she is involved in several notable European projects – AI-Sprint, CALESTIS, ICOS, CEEC CoE, PerMedCoE, and DT-GEO. She is the PI of the EuroHPC eFlows4HPC project. Her current research interest is programming models for complex platforms (from multicore GPUs to Grid/Cloud).

ISC 2026 Taps Parallel Computing Expert Rosa M. Badia as Program Chair

As the ISC main program comes to a close today, we are pleased to announce Rosa M. Badia, a prominent European scientist specializing in parallel computing, high performance computing, and distributed systems, as the chair of the 2026 program. 

HPC Community Gathers at ISC 2025 to Connect the Dots

In just four days, the eagerly awaited ISC 2025, a crucial event for the global high performance computing community, will take place. As of noon CET today, 3,137 attendees have registered for the event. If the registration continues at this pace, ISC is on track to achieve another milestone in attendance. 

The ISC 2025 Exhibition Sets New Records

With only 24 days left until the ISC high performance computing community comes together, we are excited to announce that this year's exhibition will be the largest and most diverse exhibition we have ever hosted. Attendees can look forward to engaging with 195 exhibitors from 31 countries, including 47 organizations that are participating in ISC for the first time. Due to increased demand for booth space this year, we have expanded the exhibition space to include Foyer 3+H.
