Dr. Thomas SoddemannLead High Performance Computing, Fraunhofer Institut SCAI
Dr. Thomas Soddemann leads the HPC Activities at the Fraunhofer Institute for Scientific Computing and Algorithms (SCAI) since 2008. He studied theoretical physics at the universities of Paderborn, Freiburg (diploma) and Mainz (PhD, Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research) in Germany. He spent time as a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD and at the Sandia National Labs, Albuquerque, NM. Later he worked at the supercomputing center of the Max Planck Society in Garching, Germany as an applications consultant for HPC systems. |
